A A study on the contemporary landscape architectural programming in the engineering project management Abstract The landscape architecture industry in China has developed rapidly since 1 990s because of urbanization．A lot of landscape design enterprises appear in the way． Many projects in some cities have been built without any analysis on macro—economics and micro·economics．Because of lacking of engineering project management experiences，human and material resources in some landscape design enterprises were profuse in．Construction of different projects is the most important part of urbanization．Its costs are huge and it needs a lot of time be built．If the planning of the project is lack of sufficient analysis，the counterforce in destruction of ecological environment is tremendous．Therefore，before the period of initiating a project，a shrewd schedule must be made．The plan includes the investigation of economic circumstance，social needs and environmental influence． The development of landscape architectural programming is crucial to the implement of landscape project．Because of the developing of Chinese economy， and especially people’s aspiration of living in good environment，many landscape projects is going to be built by governments and corporations． However,due to the initial stage，irregular market and lagging theoretical research，there still exists some negative factors against people’s utilization in community environment of China’s cities． The first part of this thesis is Chapter 1 to Chapter 3．It introduces the framework of rationale through a full exposition of concept of landscape architectural programming．Besides，it studies the existing modal of landscape architectural programming，analyzing its advantages and disadvantages．The second part of this thesis is Chapter 4 and 5 as the point．It deals at some length with how the proposed mode operates，including the operational process，circumstance analysis， environment research，feasibility study,preparative and ev
