A mor e rig orou s t hree- dimensional heat t ransf er m odel is pr opo sed and v erif ied fo r it s rat ionalit y by using MA T L A B simulat io n. A new fo rmula of calculat ing t hermal conduct ivit y and it s sim plif ied f ormula f or practical applicat io ns are developed . T he ef fect o f t he sidew al l coo ling on t he thermal conduct ivity , a vacuum rubber disk as an ex ample, is quantit at iv ely analyz ed , and the f unction curve bet w een the sam ple size and the m easurement precision is plo tt ed .
