Lead in the target language through listening and speaking practice. 情感、态度与价值观 We can’t live without food. So it’s important for us know vegetables and fruit about our life. 三.Teaching key /difficult points: 重点: Master the key words and target language. Learn to talk about likes and dislikes. Improve students’ listening and speaking. 难点: How to talk about likes and dislikes. 课前准备 A tape recorder, some pictures and handouts. 四.Teaching procedures: Step 1 Warm up Ask students to be familiar with the words below according to the words pictures. banana, hamburger, tomato, ice-cream, salad, strawberry, pear, milk, bread. Choose three kinds of food of these and ask students to answer whether they like them or not. T: What’s this in English? S1: It’s a banana. T: Do you like bananas? S2: Yes, I do. At last, make students practice the sentences structure with other words. Step 2 Presentation Teach activity 1a. Ask students mach the words with the things in the pictures. Then check the answers. Read the words after the teacher. Teach activity 1b. Call students’ attention to the three conversations in the book. Ask students to listen carefully and number the conversations [1-3]. Then check the answers. Teach activity 1c. Ask some pairs to act out their conversations to the class. Step 3 Listening drills (2a2b) Show these new words on the blackboard, and ask students to read and try to remember them. Listen and finish the task. Check the answers. Teach activity 2c.
