Improve students’ listening and speaking. 难点： How to talk about likes and dislikes. 课前准备 A tape recorder, some pictures and handouts. 四．Teaching procedures: Step 1 Warm up Ask students to be familiar with the words below according to the words pictures. banana, hamburger, tomato, ice-cream, salad, strawberry, pear, milk, bread. Choose three kinds of food of these and ask students to answer whether they like them or not. T: What’s this in English? S1: It’s a banana. T: Do you like bananas? S2: Yes, I do. At last, make students practice the sentences structure with other words. Step 2 Presentation Teach activity 1a. Ask students mach the words with the things in the pictures. Then check the answers.
