A A Study of Carrying Capacity on Urban Green Space in Baoding Based on C02 Emissions and Sequestration Author：Li Hongqian Supervisor：Prof．Li Chunyou Major：Master of Landscape Architecture Abstract The carbon dioxide levels in atmospheres is ever-increasing as increasing precesses of industrialization and urbanization，it caused a series of abnormal phenomenons，including the warming of air temperature，the changes of precipitation pattems，and extreme meteorological disasters occur frequently．Directly or indirectly,these changes affect the growth of plants and terrestrial ecosystems structure and pattern．In the process of urbanization，urban green space construction has entered the era of rapid development．The potential carbon sequestration capacity of urban green space system at regulating urban carbon cycle and reducing urban heat island effects Can not be ignored．But whether the green space system Can maintain the sustainable development of urban area，with increasing levels of carbon dioxide，is ode of the key points of urban green space construction．In this study,the author based on socio—economic statistics and remote sensing data of Baoding in 20 1 3，from two aspects of Carbon dioxide emissions from energy consumption(that is carbon footprinO and Green vegetation carbon sequestration capacity to calculate，determining and analyzing the carbon carrying capacity of urban green space in Baoding city,and the author provides data and theoretical support for the construction of low carbon ecological garden city in Baoding city．The conclusion was summarized as follows： (1)The paper counted various enery consumption consumption conditions from 2009 to 20 1 3 in Baoding city,which is based on the data of the economic statistical yearbook of Baoding，and analysised the consumption changes of Baoding in these five years．It is believed that the energy structure of Baoding city is being adjusted，and some of the more serious energy sources are replaced by the more clean energy,ca
