!童三兰奎兰三兰竺圭兰竺兰圣AB !童三兰奎兰三兰竺圭兰竺兰圣 AB STRACT Since the security requirement of life and working environment of people is increasing， the security system of buildings becomes more and more iIⅡportant． Surveillance system has becorne an important part of security system because of its intuitionist，convenient characteristic and abundant contents． The conventional surveillance projects with f)c—based can’t meet the requirement of some applications because of their 1imitation．Currently，the embedded network video sLLrVeillance system has become a hot topic of this field． Under this background， this paper brings forWard a hardware project based on TMs320C DSC21 to improve the conventional method． This project consists of data collection， data compression， data storing and data transmission． The Streaming Media techn0109y is used in the data compression and transmission．The project has the merit of smaller size， lower cost and higher stability． The hardware requireⅢent of surveillance system is analyzed firstly， then the project is brought forward based on DSC21， and the components of the hardware are studied． Furthermore， the data collection part is completed and MPEG-4 is used in the data compression part． The emphasis of this paper is to study the MPEG一4 and the co哪unication between the two CPUs in DSC2l，ARM and DSP，and the DSP and two coprocessors for the Video compression．During the video encoding process，there are two coding types， which are Intra—fraIIle and Inter—frame， using the methods of motion prediction，estimation and coⅢpensation．And data network transmission is completed on Streaming Media protoc01． This paper aims to study embedded network video surveillance system in practical applications． The ~IPEG一4 standard and Streaming Media techn0109y are studied deeply and realized in oHr system． Key Key Words： Network Video Surveillance： DSC21 Chip： Streaming Media Embedded System；MPEG一4 Ⅲ 第一章绪论第一章绪论 第一章绪论 第一章绪论 1．1课题研究的背景和意义 随着人们对生活和工作环境的安全性的要求不断提高，建筑物的安全防范系 统
