As the development trend of solar energy, PV Grid-connected is becoming the most important way of solar energy utilization. First, by analyzing and comparing the structures and control strategies of the inverter, two stages with no isolation is adopted in this dissertation which is fit to this grid-connected photovoltaic system. And triangle wave comparison method is adopted for the inverter output current tracking. Then base on analysing the output characteristics of the PV cell model, three common maximum power point tracking methods is compared and simulated. A combining Constant Voltage algorithm with Perturb-Observe method was used finally in this system. The simulation results show that the improved method has good startup and tracking characteristic. Islanding effect should be well solved in grid-connected photovoltaic system. This paper analyses the theory of the islanding effect and presents the active and passive detecting methods, according to their advantages and disadvantages, an improved detecting method was proposed and simulated. The simulation results shows that the harmonic pollution is small, the detection speed is quick, and with no blind detection. According to the whole control system, a single-phase photovoltaic grid-connected device was designed, introducing the process of calculating important parameters and selecting components in the main circuit, and the hardware and software is designed in detail.
