万方数据 万方数据 Abstract With the operation of high-speed railway in China, intense competition has been outperformed between high-speed railway and air transportation. The market share of air transportation has a big decease because of high-speed railway. The high-speed railway network will be completely finished by 2020.The areas covered by high-speed railways are the same regions in which the air transportation occupies the largest passenger volume. Anhui Province has unique geographical advantages of linking the eastern and the western regions as well as connecting the northern and the southern as one of the biggest populous provinces in our country. An intact high-speed railway network which centers in Hefei and spreads out to main cities in China with the rational high-speed railway network layout will be formed in Anhui Province by 2020. The development of the high-speed railway in Anhui Province will enter a new era and Hefei will become one of the most important transport junction sites in China. Hefei Xinqiao International Airport is an important newly built air link leveled 4-E and will become a powerful competitor in high speed transportation market of Anhui Province. The study of the impact of Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail on high speed transportation market in Anhui in this paper has an important realistic significance. This paper studies the impact of Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail on air transportation in Anhui in five chapters. This paper first introduces the background, social significance, main content and methods of the study, and then define the theoretical basis by the study of relevant literature and introduce the current development of high-speed railway and air transportation of the whole country and Anhui Province and describes the development experience of foreign countries.
