教学目标要求:1、 教学目标:学习句子“How tall are you? I’m meters tall.”以及“You’re shorter than me. You’re 4cm taller than me.” 2、 教学重点:能灵活运用“How tall are you?”并能准确用I’m meters tall.回答。掌握句型You’re shorter than me。You’re 4cm taller than me.”3、 教学难点:区分运用tall and taller, short and shorter.教具准备:单词卡片几张,磁带一盘,录音机一个,米尺若干个,多媒体课件一套。教学设计:Step1:Greetings T: Hi! How are you?? ? S: Fine, thank you. T:How old are you?? ?S: I’m ____. Step2:Presentation (1)用图片呈现单词:taller stronger older younger shorter (2)出示重点句子运用单词。
(3)出示课件:(姚明) T: What is his name? Do you know? Can you tell me something about him? You can speak Chinese.?(教师加以补充,介绍姚明为国家争夺了很多荣誉,同时渗透德育,培养孩子们从小培养树立为国为班争光的意识,增强集体荣誉感。)? ? And then ask you have any another questions?? ? S: How old is he? When is his birthday?/Is he very tall?...... T: He is very tall. How tall is he?(由How old is he?引出How tall is he?)Can you guess the meaning?T: He is ___meters tall. (Practice the pronunciation of cm) T: Is he short or tall?S: He is tall.(4)出示另一张图片(Miss Fang)T: Is he short or tall?S: He is very short.T: He is shorter than Yao Ming. T: He is fifty -five years old. He has some illness, so he can not be as tall as us. Do you want to be as short as him?S: No.T: So you must eat enough food such as vegetables and fruit and so on, then you can have a healthy body. 同时也教会学生不挑食,爱惜粮食。 (5)播放几张关于比较的图片,对比。
(6)课件引出恐龙和博物馆。
(7)播放John 和Wu关于let’s talk对话。 Ask students to listen and think about how tall John is and how tall Wu is. Then check the answers ,并解释Wu is taller than John. Wu is 4cm taller than John. John is shorter than Wu. Last listen again and ask students to read after the tape. And then read in groups. Step3: Practice教师任意指着班上一名同学问:Is he short or tall? How tall is he?
