It has a short tail. 教学难点: 1.能在实际情景中灵活运用以下句型“It has…”来描述动物外貌特征。 2.单词small中/l/的音较难,要卷舌。 3.单词tail的发音。 教学准备: 教学卡片,教学课件 教学过程: Step1. Warm-up Greetings. Point and say together: Look at me. This is the head/eye/nose/mouth/ear… T: We have two eyes/ears/legs/arms. (Make sure they can understand the singular and plural forms.) Give examples: three books/ two rulers/ some boys… 设计意图:用说指的形式作为开课伊始,调动孩子的学习热情,重点是复习身体部位单词,并利用身边资源帮助学生理解名词单复数含义,为本单元新授课部分扫清障碍。 Step2. Presentation Draw and say. T draws a long tail on the Bb. Guess: What’s this? (Ss gives different answers) Complete the picture of a rat. (T: Wow, it’s a tail.) Teach the word. Write it on the Bb. Help them to spell: [teil].Read the word. T: It’s long or short? (Use the gesture ) Ss: long. Teach the word: long.(Write, spell and read) Draw another tail of a fish. Compare and teach: Short---a short tail. 设计意图:tail 是在课本中首次出现的单词,孩子们不容易掌握。通过简笔画,猜一猜的方式引出单词,并结合单词的音形义,加强记忆,突破教学的重难点。 Game: Listen and say Give an animal, Ss describe the tail. Monkey---- a long tail Panda-----a short tail … 设计意图:利用孩子们感兴趣的话题,通过孩子们对各种动物尾巴长短的描述活动,激发学习兴趣,强化对重点单词的记忆。 Look, compare and say. Show several pictures. Compare and teach: big/ small Help Ss try to spell: big [big] small [sm] Show hands and write them on the Bb. Practise: Use gestures , say and do ,and then exchange. Clap hands and have a chant.(Look at the pictures.) Big, big, big , the elephant is big. Small, small, small, the mouse is small. Big, big, big, the panda is big.
