It is a commonly-seen functional gastroenteropathy in digestive disease. In our country FD accounts for over 1/3 of the patients of gastroenteropathy. Because it is outbreaked repeatly the patients life , study and work are severitily effected. It is necessary to explore its pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment. Objective：To observe the therapeutic effect and security of JianweiXiaozhang Keli in treating FD(caused by disharmony of liver and stomach),and compare the difference of gastin and gasrointestinal motility before and after treatment. Methods：60 cases which accord with diagnostic standard of FD were divided into two groups(control group and treatment group).Both groups were treated for 21days .Treatment group is treated with Jianwei Xiaozhang Keli. Control group is treated with motilium. All the patients avoided using any medicine which can affect gastrointestinal dynamic befor treatment.Before and after treatment the gastric emptying time﹑symptom scores and Gastin of both groups were measured. Results：The overall effective rate of the treatment group is 93.33%,while the control group is 76.67%,which indicates the therapeutic efficacy of the treatment group is better than group control(P＜0.05).Before treatment ,the gastric emptying time and gastrointestinal hormone of both groups had no notable difference(P＞0.05).After treatment the gastric emptying rate and gastrointestinal hormone of both groups had notable difference(P＜0.05).
