ABSTRACT Oxygen saturation is one of the important parameters of human physiological health. Oxygen saturation monitoring has very important significance to the human health. Oximeter is an instrument to monitor oxygen saturation; it uses Lambert-Beer Law as the principle, and then calculates oxygen saturation according to acquisition photoplethysmography signal. Oximeter realized of human blood oxygen saturation noninvasive, real-time, continuous monitoring. Traditional oximeter is mostly separate medical instruments. It is hard for patient to use oximeter without health care worker’s help. With the development of mobile Internet, it makes oxygen saturation measurement result sharing and visualization management possible. Traditional oximeter cannot achieve such a function. This paper designed a system, which implements wireless measurement of blood oxygen saturation measurement. Besides, the measurement results can visual management and measurement results can share to other by email. The main work of this paper is as follows: 1、This essay presents some ways to measurement of oximetry. Then this essay studied the noninvasive measurement method, which uses Lambert-Beer Law as principle. Finally this essay derived the principle of oximeter by uses modified Lambert-Beer Law. 2、This essay designed a pulse oximeter system, which includes acquisition equipment and data process center. This system implements wireless measure by uses Bluetooth. 3、Acquisition equipment utilizes MCU CC2540 which integrated low-power Bluetooth protocol stack for photoplethysmography signal acquisition. It directly convert analog signal to digital signal by uses Light to Frequency device. This function can improve the signal’s signal to noise ratio and simplify the acquisition device. 4、This essay developed a iOS application, which implemented calculate measure result by signal processing.
