Recent years has witnessed a steady increase in the popularity of such majors as international finance, and accountancy, international trade and business administration. In the meantime, whether to choose a good university or a good major has provoked a debate. In my opinion, if I could not obtain both, I will choose the more practical and useful one. In another word, I prefer a prestigious university. It is obvious that if you graduate from a prestigious university, you will be likely to get more attention from the employers in talent market, so, many students try their best to enter good universities. To them, entering a good university means standing on the threshold of a promising career after graduation. But all things have two sides. A good university can mean a bright future, and you may get a suitable job because of the schools reputation. But if your major is not needed by the talent market, you may be just a workless person with a diploma of a prestigious university. It is certain that to study a good major in a prestigious university is the best thing for every student. But few can achieve it.
