The students will be able to read and talk about the rules with Imperative Do/Don’t… ., Can of permission, or Modal verbs have to ,must
这是本节课主要任务,其它活动都是为此做准备的。
2. Target Language
a. The students will be able to express their ideas on talking about the rules with the following patterns.
Get up early and make your bed.
Don’t leave the dirty dishes in the kitchen.
I can’t play basketball after school because I must do my homework.
I have to go to bed before 10:00 .
There are lots of things you can do.
Parents and schools are sometimes strict,
but remember, they make rules to help
us. We have to follow them.
b. The students will be able to understand the following words and phrases.
leave, dirty, dishes, kitchen, terrible, strict , follow the rules, remember, make the bed, feel
核心语言的操练、理解与运用应当融入话题。搭建支架, 帮助学生灵活使用语言完成话题任务。
部分词汇已学习,了解其在文中的词义并能根据音标正确朗读。再现为了进一步巩固
3. Grammar Focus
Students will be able to use “Do/ Don’t…. ;…can/can’t….;…must/have to ….” properly.
使用“Do/ Don’t …. ; …can/can’t ….;… must/have to ….” 谈论规则,正确使用can/can’t及have to的用法。
4. Reading Strategy
a. The students will be able to “scan” the reading material quickly to find details that they are looking for without reading the whole text. (What rules does Molly have to follow?)
b. The students will be able to “summarize” the important ideas from the text by making a list of the rules at home and school
