Where is Amy? (In a shop) Ask Ss to skim the conversations on their own and underline any words they do not know. Encourage them to guess the meanings of these words from the context Get Ss to work out the meaning of ‘discount’ by deduction as a class activity. Draw a table on the board and ask Ss to copy it in their books.
