II II ABSTRACT The development of Internet has become the trend of the prairie ablaze. Its applications have permeated from military, scientific, technological, culture and commercial penetration into current society in various fields. With the popularization of Internet, the application of the network has been developing in scope and depth. The network brings great convenience for people. It also brings some problems that can not be ignored. The issues of Network information security is one of these problems. Internet security, specially the Website’s security, needs to have a good solution more and more urgently. According to related statistics show that WIN2000 used to make WEB servers still account for a large proportion. One of the main characteristics of WIN2000 Operation system is its integration into the core of IIS, and to provide a number of guided tools used in configuration and maintenance software, in order to build an Internet Website more easily. But, from the birth of IIS, its safety has been questioned by people because it is often found the new security holes. To build a secure Internet site and to achieve the dual security for WIN2000 and IIS, it also need a more comprehensive and in-depth study and practice. In a word, according to the relevant standards and norms and combined with the existing technology, this article will fully tap win2000 potential, and combined with the IIS components. We will build the most economic and practical Web site for small and medium enterprises without additional software costs.
