The relationship of the total protein levels in the hemolymph
and hepatopancreas with precociousness of Eriocheir sinensis

Abstruct: I Chi ese mitte crab ( Eriocheir sinensis ) , the go adal developme t of juve ile crab correlates with
the total protei level i the hepatopa creas a d hemolymph. The total protei level i the hepatopa creas of the
juve ile crab is ( 121. 17 ? 44. 50) mg#g- 1 for female a d ( 89. 43 ? 21. 86) mg#g- 1 for male respectively. But
the protei level i the hepatopa creas of the precocious crab drops to ( 81. 08 ? 5. 84) mg#g- 1 for female a d
70. 58 ? 9. 90mg#g- 1 for male respectively. Simulta eously, the rate betwee hepatopa creas a d body weight of
female juve ile crab is desce di g from 8. 18% to 3. 90% . The hemolymph total protei level of the female
juve ile crab is ( 99. 55 ? 12. 06) mg#mL- 1, it is higher tha that of the female precocious crab. The hemolymph
total protei level of the male juve ile crab is similar to that of the male precocious crab. The total protei level
