Teaching procedure Step 1：Leading in (about 3 minutes) Greet students as usual. Asking students the weather T: Look outside, How’s the weather? It’s good or bad? Ss: Good. T：Ok. Do you want to know how to describe the weather? We will talk about the weather today. Objects: Raise students’ interest. Step2: Presentation (about 9 minutes) Have students look at the pictures and read the words on the PPT。 Talk about the meaning of the words. Teach students to read the new words. Objects: Get students familiar with the new words of weather description. Step 3: Work on 1a(about 5 minutes) Read the instructions. Read each of the words and phrases of 1a. Finish 1a in groups. Step4: Work on 1b(about 15 minutes) Look at the pictures on PPT. And then make conversation. Look a video about weather description. Now lets look at the city names in the box in 1b.
