In recent years, the market and technology of embedded system keeps booming and developing. Since music is an indispensable part of human life, the audio decoding on the platform of embedded system has been one of the hotspots by utilizing the features such as low power consumption, cuttable and potable functionality, etc. In this thesis, the core of the hardware platform is the embedded processor CK610 series. The processor is our countrys domestic processor with independent intellectual property rights. Nowadays, as ARM and MIPS are popular all around the world, promoting the domestic processor is of significant importance to improve our competitive advantage in the electronics industry. Based on the CK610 series processors and embedded development board CK5A6EVB, the thesis has analyzed and transplanted the Bootloader and Linux3.0 kernel, meanwhile, the performance of AC-3 and DTS decoding have been tested. Firstly, this thesis has improved the Bootloader so that the user can pass the command to boot the kernel. Then the IIC keys in the Bootloader has been done on module design, to control the AC-3 and DTS decoding. In the Bootloader, AC-3 and DTS decoding module have been transplanted, and the performance of AC-3 and DTS decoding have been tested in a different CPU clock frequency and AHB, APB bus frequency. Lastly, under the operating system Linux3.0, AC-3 and DTS decoding program have been compiled and executed , and the performance of AC-3 and DTS decoding have been tested in a different CPU clock frequency and AHB, APB bus frequency, and the real-time decoding of AC-3 has been implemented under the operating system Linux3.0. There is an assessment of the audio decoding about CK610 series processors in this thesis. It is helpful to the development of the dom estic audio industry.
