Dynamic speed determination and positioning sub-system is one of the key technologies of automatic train operation control system. In the CBTC system, the reliability of speed detection and the accuracy of positioning, are the key points on the train safety operation efficiently. The further study on train-car dynamic speed detection and positioning should be significant on new type transport developing and promoting. In this thesis, a study on theoretical analysis of dynamic speed determination and positioning detection is taken in-depth. Upon theoretical analysis, a comparison on variety technologies is expanded. Based on the special environment of urban rail transit operation, a suitable design of train speed and position detection subsystem is applied. Firstly, in this paper, the various methods of train speed and position measurement are elaborated, errors mechanism on speed determination and positioning detection system is studied by existing .systems analysis. Slide slip error causes and effects analysis is also involved. Combining speed, point-positioning and bar code identification system, a new solution is provided: The integrated use of a variety speed detection to calculate the displacement of the train, and apply the communication between interrogator and transponder to check and correct train location information, then, Bar code information on the train station to reduce the error further. Secondly, information fusion technologies improve safety and Robustness of the designed system. Multi-source information fusion method for various types of sensor measurements achieves complementary advantages, verification effectiveness in the system.
