The innovative, competitive nature of the smartphone industry and the constantly changing demands of mobile consumers, will only accelerate the pace of mobile transformation in the years to come. In India alone, mobile handset penetration and data infrastructure growth have been incredible. This has paved the way for an enormous base of 670 million mobile users by 2018 and 781 million smartphone users by 2021. The always-on, immersive and now, highly personalized nature of mobile devices creates a huge opportunity for brands to meaningfully engage with their customers. Across all walks of life, use cases and industries, mobile has become an integral part of the Indian consumer’s day-to-day lifestyle.
