All the architecture content、various genre and style, different appreciating emotions come out by a particular form. The form is an architectural language, and it is the tool that the architect carries out his design by. By the time architecture develops with different orientation, the persons appreciation has also deeply changed, and the demand of appreciation is more and more, too. This phenomena makes the innovation of the architecture form become inevitable request of the architecture design development. For creating new form, many architects deeply investigate their originality and think the new ways of creation for the architecture form. The addition form this thesis discusses is a new way of the creation and an important way of the form innovation. What this thesis mainly studies is the research of addition form for architecture form. That it is an important creating way of the architecture form is illustrated by analysing and summarizing the addition form. The thesis elucidates applied skills of the addition form, and shows it the applied universality and catholicity . Addition form is elaborated from the relation between morphology 、form and shape，and the concept of it is confirmed. First illustrate the source of the addition form, analyze the existing origin of it, and further construe the character , confirm the meaning of it. This makes an important effect on understanding of the addition form for architect. Subsequently elaborate the creating principle and applied skills of the addition form. Put forward that the creating principle which is integrity、organic character、unification and aptness is the precondition to apply the addition form. And the applied skills of the addition form are sum up to repetition, similarity, folding addition, cross, accession and contrast
