II II Abstract The objective of project management is to build a project product with high quality and low cost, but there are still great loss caused by projects’ quality in our country every year. How to obtain satisfied quality with optimal cost has become the urgent request of the construction enterprises. In order to realize the goal we have to manage the quality cost of projects effectively. The thesis uses the technical economy analytical method combined with quality control and cost control, analyses the specificity of building industry and its products, and makes clear the concept and composition of project quality cost. The thesis integrates quality cost management with PDCA management theory, puts forward a complete quality cost management system which is constituted by quality cost forecast, planning, control, accounting, analysis and evaluation. After that, the thesis introduces the forecast and planning of quality cost in brief, studies the idea, process, approach and measurement for the quality cost control depending on the planning of quality cost. We have established a complete quality cost accounting system in order to improve the effectiveness of quality cost accounting. And we focus on analyzing the loss of quality cost on the base of an instance. Meanwhile, we establish a method to analyze the source of quality failure cost and discuss the problem for constructing a system to control the source of quality failure cost of enterprises. The research method and conclusion of the thesis can provide reference value for construction projects to improve their quality level and economic benefits.
