Abstract In present , sedim ent m odel research is u sually f ocu sed on cases of small basin
w ith shor t t ime int erval recor d of rainf al l and high densit y net w ork of rainf all gauging sta-
tio n. T here are t w o problems com e usually acr oss in t he applicat ion of such model t o m iddle
and larg e scale of basins, t hat ar e t im e and space scale pro blems . A middle scale basin w ith
hig h densit y net w ork of rainf all sta tio n and six small scale basins w ith shor t time int er v al r eco r d r ainf all
w ere chosen . T he r elatio ns o f simulating accur acy r espectiv ely to time int erv al scale and t o space scale w ere
