Abstract
With the rapid development of Chinas economy, the bridge construction is pushing at full steam in Divine Land of China. As a composite structure, composite bridge which combines the advantages of concrete structure and steel structure will be widely adopted. But in China, the design of composite bridge is commonly adopting foreign standards. Because the gap between domestic and international research about composite bridge is still exist, in addition to the relevant specification is not perfect. This paper which is based on the parrot island Yangtze River Bridge, performs finite element analysis and experimental research about the bridge panel.
First, using the finite element software Midas Civil performs finite element analysis about the typical section of parrot island Yangtze River Bridge, and study the shear lag effect. Then using the formula calculates the effective width and the effective width coefficient of the control section, and compares the results with the value which is based on all kinds of specifications. The results show that the finite element analysis values of the effective width is between the results based on line spacing and the results based on span.
Secondly, using the prefabricated bridge deck of parrot island Yangtze River Bridge designs four test models (three positive moment models, a negative moment model), and performs static load test on them. Test the strain, deflection, crack and its development on key location, and get load - displacement curve, cracking load, yield load and other parameters of the model. What is done in front is to study the characteristic of deck under local loads. While the model test, use the finite element software ANSYS performing finite element nonlinear static analysis about the test model, and get their finite element values under the static load. Finally, test the reliability of the results of finite element analysis by comparing the experiment
