AbstractMuch Abstract Much research work has been done about Utopia so far．Though Utopia has received both favor and criticism from the researchers，it is usually considered to connote fantasy and not being realistic．This can be traced back to the pursuit of a fantasized edifice and a fictitious peacefuIIand in Utop／a by Thomas More．which Iaid a foundation for the nihility of Utopia．Actually．more didn。t equate Utopia with fantasy and he showed between the lines great concem for social responsibility as a humanist． Utopia manifests the Utopian impulse of more and other people of his time。and therefore in its general sense refers to the consciousness of hoping for happiness in human nature． It is this very consciousness that motivates human beings to accept and remould the nature so that they can get more freedom and things they haven’t yet obtained． Subjectively。human beings’pursuit of dreams aims at freedom and liberation。but objectively it may possibly bring unimaginable crisis to the world and other people． The integration of objectively transforming the world and subjectively conquering the nature and the correlation of the ambition to realize personal value by beating other people objectively and the hope for liberating the humankind subjectively make Utopia fall into an awkward position between the original hope and the realistic disaster． People should reflect the fundamentaI reason behind this dilemma．It was not caused by Utopia itself，but by the human nature that people cannot overcome by themselves．It makes use of human beings’hope for bright future to realize their own value and changes the hope into monarch，making Utopia the target of public criticism． However，human beings cannot exist without Utopia，since it goes with the dissatisfaction and hope in human nature．Therefore．Utopia faIIs into a dilemma between reality and human conciousness． Key words：Utopia，hope，consciousness．freedom，conversa60n 引言对乌托邦的感悟首先来源于生活，我想把这种对生活的感觉和体验用一种理性的笔 引言 对乌托邦的感悟首先来源于生活，我想把这种
