Forecast Department of Economic Research Information Center of Hunan Provincial People’s Government, Changsha 410011, China) Abstract: Based on the analysis of Hunan income distribution pattern, We found that the structure appeared following features:(a) total income increasing significantly;(b) urban and rural income growth lagged behind GDP growth;(c) urban-rural absolute income gap was widening but the relative gap had narrowed;(d) the income gap of urban in different areas was widening but the relative gap among the residents had narrowed;(e)the income gap of rural residents was widening. This paper considered these factors such as proportion decrease of labor compensation, unbalanced regional economic development, wage income and low income were the important factor influencing the current pattern of income distribution in Hunan province. Then this paper presented some countermeasures.
