Module 13 Unit 3 What’s your favourite colour?

I.Teaching aims and demands:
1.Knoledge objects:
What’s your favourite colour/food?
Red is my favourite colour.
2.Ability objects:
Train the Ss’listening,speaking,reading and writing skills.
Train the students’communicative competence using the key words and target language.
3.Moral objects:
Enable the Ss to know and take care of their families and others.
II.Teaching key points: How to ask and answer favourite things.
III.Teaching difficult points:
How to ask and answer favourite things;
Train the students’ listening,speaking,reading and writing skills.
IV.Teaching methods: Revision Method, play games,pair work,group work.
VI.Teaching procedures:
Step 1.Greetings.
Step 2 Revision and lead-in
Revision the colours
Use some pictures to ask and answer with the students.
T:What colour is it ?
Ss:It’s black/white/red/blue/yellow/green…
(Read the words of colour 3 times and spell the words.)
2.Play a game.
(用小彩旗让学生听到老师念哪种颜色单词就举相应的小旗)
3. Lead-in
(1) The teacher talks about her favourite colour and show the project.
T: Red is my favourite colour. What is your favouite colour?
S: Yellow… is my favourite colour.
(2) Let the students talk about their favourite colour in pairs.
(3) Use some pictures of food to practice the drill:
T: What is your favourite food?
Ss: My favourite food is rice…
Step 3 Listen and tick
Listen and tick the food that Sam likes and dislikes.
Food
Rice
Noodles
Apples
Bananas
Like
Dislike
Play the tape twice.
Listen and repeat, then check the answers.
Look at the table and answer:
T: What’s Sam’s favourite food?
Ss: Apples.
Step 5 Make a survey.
1.让学生当小记者去采访在场的人的喜好,并将采访到的信息填到表中。
