Unit 2 What should I do ? Section A( 1a-2c) Learning Goals: In this lesson we mainly learn how to use “should\ could” correctly. Especially pay attention to the transformation of person. Students are able to give advice by using “should\could”. Teaching and learning steps: Step I. 1. Lead in 1)Make a two-column chart on the board with the heading problem at the top of column 1 and the heading Advice at the top of column 2)T: I want to buy a new computer, but I don’t have enough money .What should I do? Ask the students to tell you what you could do about it. Problem I want to buy a new computer but I don’t have enough money. Advice Wait until next year. Don’t buy a new computer . Get a part-time job. Buy a second-hand computer. … 3)Then the teacher read the problem to the class again. And write the words could, should and shouldn’t on the board next to the chart.
