Step1 Lead-in

Step2 Discussion
1. Work in groups. Look at the questions in 2a:
1.) Do you like to watch cartoons?
2.) What is your favorite cartoon?
3.) Why do you like it?
2. Ask one student the questions as a model.
3. Tell Ss to discuss the questions in the group.
Step3 While Reading
1.Introduce something about Disney.
T: Do you like to watch cartoons? Do you know Mickey Mouse?
2.Work on 2b:
1). Skimming(略读) 快速阅读,回答问题。
When did the cartoons come out?
2) Scanning(找读)仔细阅读全文,判断对(T)错(F).
