Step Two: pre-writing 1 Free talk : What are your New Year’s resolutions ? 2 3a:Complete the first two paragraphs about resolutions with the words in the box. 3 Go through the words together, then ask the students to fill in the blankets by themselves. 4. Check their answers together, then read the paragraphs together. 5.Complete 3b with your partners, then share your ideas with other students. Step Three: While-writing 1 Complete 3C by themselves. Then share it with the whole class. 2 Make a consolation about how to write your resolution. Step Four: Post- writing One more exercise about writing resolutions : Part 6 in Unit 6 of Workbook(P79-80) Go through the requirements together. Have a discussion about what and how to write. Say it out before write it down. Step Five: Homework: 1 Go over the key words and key sentences by memorizing them. 2 Write the composition on the your exercise books.
