Task 1 Ask questions beginning with “What are you going to be when…?” “How are you going to do…?
Task 2 Ask students to make their conversations.
Step 2 Grammar Focus
1.Show the learning goals of this period:
(1) 能正确使用want to be 谈论未来的理想;
(2)正确使用be going to 结构表示将来。
2. The simple future tense.
(1) Read the sentences aloud and underline “want to be” and “be going to” .
(2) Learn the content on page 116.
(3) Discuss in groups and find out the answers:
a. “be going to+动词原形”表示 。
b. 常与 等表示将来的时间状语连用。
(4) 小结be going to的肯定句、否定句、特殊疑问句、一般疑问句句型结构。
Step 3 Exercise
Task 1 3a. Match what these people want to do with what they are going to do.
学生在课本上完成练习,并叫一位学生到平台电子书上完成练习。
