一、教学内容分析:
Materials:
The 1st period Unit 2,Junior Grade 8 Book B; Go For It (PEP).
Analysis of the materials: It’s required to practice the English function offer help with the topic of Volunteering charity in this unit. It aims at practising
English language skills by listening speaking reading writing.
About structures: It’s required to practise Infinitives as object, adverbial and object complement. and Modal verb could for suggestions as well.
About vocabulary: some new words must be learned to enlarge the Ss’ vocabulary,especially phrasal verbs
.
二、教学目标:
Function: Offering help;
Target language:
I’d like to help the homeless people;
You could ask the hospital to let you visit the kids and cheer them up
I’m making some signs to put around the school
Emotion goals: Train the Ss’ benevolence
Teaching emphasis:
1.Practices how to offer help;(4skills)
2.Grammar focus of Infinitives as object, adverbial and object complement. and Modal verb could for suggestions as well.(3skills)
三、学习者特征分析:
There are 32 students in our class. Over 90% of them are interested in learning English, and they can follow the instructions in class, and communicate with the teacher or friends freely according to what they have learned. But some of them are difficult not quite active to learn English. they are poor at English they can only finish their homework alone or with help of others.

Warm up: Talk about volunteer activities;
Vocabulary: learn the new words by talking about the pictures;
Listening practice;
Oral practice;
