Unit 7 Will people have robots?

教学目标:
1、知识与能力:
1)To make predictions. 2)To learn the structure “There will be” and “will+ V”.
3)Key words: have robots ;in people’s home; will not= won’t ;won’t go to school ;study at home ;100 yeas from now =in 100 years ; use money 8.be free ;on computer; not on paper ;only one country ;live to be ……years old
4)Students can predict what the life will be like in the future and talk about their life experience and their dreams in the future by using target languages.
2、过程与方法:
1)Task-based approach.
2)Learning by listening, speaking, acting, cooperation. reporting, writing.
3)Encourage the students to make some creative ideas and help them to try to fulfill their ideas.
重点难点
1. 教学重点:1) 学习掌握重点单词及词组。2) 掌握There be句型的一般将来时态的结构。
2. 教学难点:情态动词will + 动词原形来表达一般将来时态
教学过程:
Step 1 Warm up. Greet each other. Review the knowledge last class.
Step 2 Leading in . Talk about some pictures. Let’s predict our futures.
Step 3 Work on Section A 1a .
1.learn some key phrase.
2.Look at the picture :How will the world be different in the future ,100 years from now ?We’re going to talk about sth in 100 years .
3.Read each predictions to the class .Explain the new vocabulary .
4.Do it by themselves .
5.Talk about the answers with the class .
Step 4 Work on Section A 1b.
1. T: Now listen to the recording and circle the predictions you hear in 1a.
2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and circle the predictions.
3. Play the recording again. Check the answers with the Ss.
Step5 Work on Section A 1c.
1. Let Ss read the first conversation in 1c after the teacher.
2. Then let Ss ask and answer questions about the predictions in 1a. Then make their own conversation.
