教材分析:1.本单元以How often do you exercise?为话题展开教学,让学生学会恰当地使用频率副词及其短语描述其课余活动和饮食安排,从而培养学生的实际语言综合运用能力。2.本课时在本单元的开篇,安排了谈论课余活动的话题,引领学生初步认识和使用频率副词,为进一步的使用频率副词和动词短语做了语言知识上的必要准备。
学情分析:1.以What开头的特殊疑问句和一部分动词短语在七年级时已经学过,但How often 特殊疑问句和频率副词及其短语属于新接触内容,应作为本节课的教学重点。2.从学生方面反馈的信息来看,一般现在时的第三人称单数仍是教学的难点所在。3.学生听读的能力还可以,但说写方面还是很不行。特别要在说写方面的训练上下功夫。
教学目标:
Knowledge Objects: Adverbs of frequency; Names of activities;How often-question and its answers.
Ability Objects: Listening skill, speaking skill, reading skill and writing skill.

Step2 Learning How often-question and the answers.
1.Do you like the activities? How often do you do them?“ How often” means 多久一次、多长时间一次inChinese. To answer it, we need to learn some Adverbs of frequency(频度副词):once/ twice /hardly ever.
Can you put them into English?一天一次、一周两次、一个月三次(板书课题和他们的正确答案)
Can you say more like this?(Help them where necessary.)
2. We can use these words to answer “how often”questions,too.Can you find the regular pattern ?:always-
