Unit6 I’m going to study computer science
Section A (1a-1c)
教学目标 Teaching Aims:
1. Knowledge objects:Vocabulary: computer programmer engineer pilot
violinist pianist cook grow upTarget language:What do you want to be when you grow up?I want to be a basketball player.How are you going to do that?I am going to study computer science.2. Ability objects: Talk about future jobs
Improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
3. Moral objects:Help them set up life goals. Make up their mind to try for it.
学情分析
This unit talks about dreams. The students are very interested in it. They have learned want to do before, and in this period they will use “I want to be…”to show their dreams. Whats more, they will use the future tense to tell us how to make their dreams come true. I think this topic is not very difficult for them.
重点难点
1. Master the key words.
2. Learn to talk about future intentions using the target language.
3. Master the structure: be going to.
教学过程
Step 1 Warming up and leading in
1. Greeting and review?some words about jobs by saying like this(I am a teacher ,my father is a worker ,my mother is a famer .I have two brothers ,one is an engineer the other is a teacher ,too .)
3. Enjoy an English song which has many words about jobs. Ask them to find out what jobs they can hear. Give the students the lyric about the song , learn more words about jobs.
设计意图:通过教师自我介绍,引发学生对职业的关注,播放插有职业图片的歌曲,吸引学生注意力,激发学生的学习兴趣。
Step 2 Presentation
1. Show some pictures on the screen and learn the new words about jobs.(-er -ist)
2. Play games. Ask the students to Listen to the sound, and?guess what he/she does.
3. Story time
?Show some pictures on the screen;?tell a story about
Mr Going- to- do to the students and guide “be going to”
“I am going to … “teach the sentence “I?want to be a/an…”
设计意图:通过展示图片直观教授目标词汇,游戏环节是对重点词汇的再现,学生可轻松愉快的巩固目标词汇。Story time通过讲述Mr Going- to- do的故事自然引入“be going to”的用法,突破语法难点。
