一、教学目标:
1. 语言目标:
1) 能掌握以下单词:action?movie,?cartoon,?scary?movie,?comedy及一些形容词。
2) 能掌握以下句型:
① What?do?you?think?of…????I?think?they’re…
② I like to watch… because they’re ...
2. 能力目标
1) 能够准确说出不同种类的电视节目或电影的名称。
2) 能够用所学过的形容词表达自己对不同种类的电视节目或电影的看法,以及询问他人的看法。
3) 掌握一定的听力技巧。
3. 情感目标:
了解他人对不同的电影或电视剧的看法,明白不同的人有不同的喜好。
二、教学重难点
1. 教学重点:
1)学生能正确使用形容词谈论对电视及电影种类的喜好并说明理由。
2) 进行听力训练,提高综合听说能力。
2. 教学难点
学生合理运用形容词来表达喜好和打算。
三、学情分析
学生在Section A中已经初步学习了如何谈论个人喜好以及如何对不同的电视节目给出不同的看法和观点,并简单陈述原因。在此基础上,可以进一步运用目标语言与他人进行合作交流,陈述自己所喜欢的电视节目或电影类型,并给出具体的理由。
四、教学过程
Ⅰ. Revision
Show students some pictures of TV shows and spell the words.
Ⅱ. Lead-in
The teacher plays some movies on the big screen.
Ⅲ. New words
Present some new words on the big screen.
action movie, cartoon, comedy, scary movie
Ⅳ.Work on 1a
1. Work with your partners. Ask and answer about the movies or shows.
2. Let Ss talk about the movies or shows with the words in 1a.
3. Let some pairs ask and answer.
Ⅴ. Listening
Work on 1b:
1. Tell Ss to listen and circle the description words you hear in the box in 1a.
2. Play the recording for the Ss. Ss just listen for the first time. Play the recording again and circle the words.
3. Play the recording and check the answers with the Ss.
Work on 1c:
1. T: Now please look at the chart in 1c. What do John and Mary think of the movies or shows? Youll listen to the tape again. Then try to fill in the blanks.
2. Ss listen to the recording carefully and try to fill in the blanks.
3. Play the recording again and check the answers with the class.
4. Let students try to retell the conversation.
Ⅵ. Group work 1d
Work in groups. Survey your group members what they think of the movies and why, then make a report.
Ⅶ. Exercise
Let students do some exercises.
= 8 \* ROMAN VIII. Homework
1. Listen, then read the tape script twice in 1b.
2. Write a short passage about your favorite movie.
