Teaching Procedures: Step1: Lead in Lead in to the topic by watching a TV sketch “扶不扶” Step2:Pre-reading 1. Get Ss to look at the picture and the title of the passage on Page 3 , which can help them understand the main idea of the passage. Then finish Task 1. 1) What is the passage mainly about? 2) Do you think this passage is from a newspaper or a story ? How do you know ? Step3:While-reading Skim and find out the main idea of each paragraph.（Task 2） Scan and answer the questions.(Task 3) Carefully read and fill in the chart,then retell the story.(Task 4) 4. Carefully read ,then finish 3b and 3c Step4:Post-reading 1. Fill in the blanks with the important phrases Ss discuss the stress phrases in group. Ss do an interview with Wang Ping . Do an interview in class about the topic “If you meet the same trouble , what will you do ?” Summary :We should try to trust others and help others!
