Teaching process: Step 1 Lead-in 1.1 Watch the pictures on P49 and talk about them by using “How deep/high/long/ big is ...?” Help Ss answer in this way: It’s ... meters/kilometers/square kilometers deep/ high/long/in size. 1.2 Look at the pictures and practice the dialogue.
