ABSTRACT This paper mainly studies construction mode of staff English training with the guidance of enterprise training theory, lifelong education theory and second language acquisition theory, combining with current situation of staff English training in an enterprise’s international projects. The author aims to improve English training methods, enhance staff awareness of and interest in language learning, and raise English training effect. It can enrich the research of domestic scholars on staff English training of international projects, and improve my understanding on language training work. This paper mainly adopts literature method, survey method, comparative research method. Through over one-year research and reflection, the author continuously insists in focusing on staff and training needs of enterprises oriented principle throughout staff English training. As for staff English training of international projects, the author advocates combination of high-quality teaching and more practice, combination of basic English and professional English. Meanwhile, according to actual situation of trainees and expected goal of a training project, trainers may design training content with moderate difficulty and use flexible training methods. As a result, it will greatly improve staffs English training effect, employees can master language communication skills through English training and have the basic ability of language communication, which makes enterprise, trainees and training center all satisfied. However, research on staff English training is endless. The author will continue to explore a set of proper training materials for different trainees, combining with their actual situation and language development principle.
