AbstractAbstract Abstract Abstract Digital Factory is one of the most important component parts of the manufacturing information．The design of plant layout is the primary task which makes it a real sense of the“digital factory”．On the other hand，it is all urgent need to plant layout that call be designed to meet the reconstruction and adaptability requirements when establish the “digital factory platform”．Therefore，it is of great realistic significance and research value that the design ofplat layout based on the digital factory． This paper makes a systematic analysis of researches on the application of Digital Factory in the layout of the workshop．To say it specifically,the method of workshop layout based on the Digital Factory is put forward by this paper and analysis by the method of logistics simulation,3D dynamic simulation and the efficiency of production-line． For the reconfigurable and adaptability demand in plant layout design,the concept of manufacturing resource library呲)and the establishment are put forward firstly, and further design a framework of plant layout which based on the digital factory． Finally，the implementation of the design of virtual plant layout is designed． This paper also establish all simulation model of the layout for making an logistics analysis use the software eM．Plant,and then make an simulation and optimization for the logistics between the layout of equipment．On this basis，this paper also make all research on establishing the three—dimensional models of workshop and detailed analyzes with the aspect of ergonomics，which affect the qualitative analysis of layout． Finally,through analysis the problems of high-丘equency of changing the mould， longer time of SET-UP,amount of WrIP in the Machinery manufacturing company，the author establishes an model to simulate the production-line and designs a solving process based on genetic algorithm in order tO solve it,and then use the programming language provided by the Tecnomatix to solve the
