CPD 要求 1.1 What is CPD and why is it important? 1.1 什么是 CPD，为什么它很重要？ Continuing professional development (CPD) is a commitment by RICS members to continually update their skills and knowledge in order to remain professionally competent. 持续专业发展 (CPD) 是指 RICS 会员们致力于不断提升自身的技能和知识，从而始终维持自身的专业胜任力。 CPD is important as RICS is a standard based organisation and its members operate in a constantly changing environment e.g. new legislation. RICS expect its professionals to be competent in order to provide the best possible service. CPD is a highly beneficial career tool if it is planned and managed in the right way; it can be used to strengthen the member’s business skills and to acquire new skills / specialisms.
