课题: Unit 4 When is Easter? Part A Let’s learn
【教学目标】
1. 能够听、说、读、写序数词:first(1st), second(2nd), third(3rd), fourth(4th), fifth(5th)
2. 初步了解各序数词的用法及在句子中的读法、写法
3. 让学生能说出一些关于序数词的规律。
【教学重难点】
教学重点:first(1st), second(2nd), third(3rd), fourth(4th), fifth(5th).的学习。
教学难点:When is the sports meet? It’s on April 4th..的学习。

教师自制的单词卡??、录音机、录音带

Step 1.预习温故
)Revision:Go over the old words: January, February, March, April, May,June......
T: When is Easter Party? Ss: It’s in April
Step 2. 新课内容展示
1)板书: The title “Unit 4 When is Easter?”.
2) T: Do you know when Easter is? Ss: It’s usually in April…….
T: Do you know how to say 4.5 in English?
Learn the new words:first(1st), second(2nd), third(3rd), fourth(4th), fifth(5th)
T:first .first Spell it please. S:Read after teacher and spell the word. (类似方法教读单词)
3) T: Make a sentence: first :April Fool’s Day is on April 1st.. S:Read after teacher
(同样的方法巩固其他单词, My birthday is on May 2nd. 明确告知学生在月份的第几日要用序数词,读时前面要加上定冠”the”, 同时在某月某日前要用介词on)。
4)师生互译序数词、基数词及短语singing contest, school trip , April Fool’s Day, Easter。
5) 句子操练:T: When is April Fool’s Day? Ss: It’s on April 1st.
T: When is singing contest? Ss: It’s on Jul. 1st….
6)Listen to the tape and read after it.

小组合作:Ask and answer:(灵活运用今天所学单词和句型)
When is the sports meet/English test? S:It’s on April 4th. …
Step.4.Homework
听录音,跟读本部分内容。
将本节课学习的新单词在四线三格内抄写5遍。
