It can stimulate the development of 97 sectors of 116 sectors of national economy, such as iron and steel, machinery and electronics and shipping. It also has positive effect on the increment of exports exchange, the enhancement of the dominant position of the state-owned enterprises, the easement of the employment pressure, and defense service. With the application of self-control, intelligence and information integration technology in shipbuilding industry, it will contribute more to the development of related industries. Thus many countries regard shipbuilding industry as its positioning industry and give it a priority of policy, legal, financial, fiscal and so on to support the the development of shipbuilding industry and enhance the international competitiveness and industrial competitiveness of domestic shipbuilding enterprises. Shipbuilding industry is a capital, technology and labor-intensive industry. China has rich natural resources, cheap costs and relatively complete industrial base, then our country has great advantage of the development of ship industry. Chinas shipbuilding industry has been fully integrated into the world economy since the 21st century. China’s shipbuilding industry has sprung up and make a high status in the international shipping market. By the end of 2010, three shipbuilding indicators of Chinas shipbuilding industry in the world are 40.7%, 43.6%, 41.5% respectively. China ranks first in the world and exceed Japan and South Korea. International competitiveness, industrial control, and industrial growth of shipbuilding make a great progress because of government’s support and policy tilt.
