万方数据 万方数据 Abstract The bauxite is one of the scarce mineral resources in our country but Guixi area( in the west of Guangxi) is rich of bauxite resource.With abundant reserves,and great ore grade, the bauxite resources there contains quantity of useful components, like gallium, scandium, zirconium, tantalum,niobium and rare earth,all of which have a most potential value.Although these elements haven’t formed an independent deposit, some of which has already reached the enough volume to form a medium-large-scale deposit. In addition, the bauxite ore types there are very special, which attract many scholars from home or abroad. This paper discusses the distribution law in the sedimentary bauxite profile and red mud of Guixi and reaches some conclusions. In the aluminiferous rock system profile and bauxite layer section, elements have different distribution in the coal seam of upper part, Aluminum iron rock Layer of middle part and the bauxite position of bottom part. In Bauxite layer, iron、 titanium 、 zirconium 、 hafnium and lithium showed a concentration gradient from top to bottom;vanadium、niobium,、tantalum、gallium、scandium and rare earth elements is rich in central part while lost in top and bottom area. Distribution in associated component of the red mud was influeced more deeply by repeatedly excavation and backfill than by natural sedimentation , which does not reflect the rich region obviously in this study. As to occurrence state of the associated components,gallium in bauxite elements occurs mainly in diaspore as isomorphism formdistribution; zirconium element mainly exists bauxite and red mud in the scattered state of zircon; hafnium would be isomorphism in the zircon; niobium and tantalum may most enrich in clay minerals; rare earth elements independent mineral parasite was found in the bauxite,and scandium was in scattered distribution in various minerals.
