The empirical results show that the energy consumption of fossil fuel has the long-run greatest impact on carbon emissions. Economic growth and energy consumption of fossil fuel are positively correlated with carbon emission, on the contrary, finanoial development has a negative correlation with carbon emission. In the short term, there is one-way Granger causality relationship between economic growth and financial development, between energy consumption of fossil fuel and carbon emission, between financial development and carbon emission. Final 1y, this study puts forward policy suggestions on improving environmentai quality from economic growth， cnergy consumption and financial development.
