Abstract This thesis mainly aims at the present conditions and actual need suppressing the current dust, making a kind of dust-depressor to solve the dust spread in the sky. At the same time, the dust-depressor will also improve the environment of some special produce situations. In the process of the experiment , we chose to take the Calcium chloride and Sodium as the main materials. Through experiments to make sure that at the base of these two materials, adding the Polyvinyl alcohol,ethylenediamine, Sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate as the subsidiary material of dust-depressor. After the orthogonal experiment,we get the better formula: theproportion between Calcium chloride and sodium silicate is 1:1 ,adding 1.0g Polyvinyl alcohol,15ml ethylenediamine and 1.0g sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate. Based on the best formula of dust-depressor, we had measured the functions of dust-depressor. The functions which was measured mainly including the viscosity,surface tension, anti-evaporation rate, moisture rate, water content ,anti-drenth function , wind resistance functions, intensions and so on. The results of measurement enunciate that the viscosity of dust-depressor is 0.164Pa·s, the surface tension is 54.2mN/m; It has better anti-evaporation below the temperature of 35℃,below the temperature, it will keep stable after evaporating a period and have better functions of protecting water in the sandy soil.After dust-depressor was natually solidified, the moisture rate is 6.93% and the water content is 18.97%. It shows that it has good hygroscopic power ability and the ability of protecting water function in the using process, so that it can get better effect of suppressing dust.The intensity of dust-depressor can attain 5.02MPa and has higher anti-press functions,so it can still retain better functions under the strict and cold weather, It can resist the erosion of 5 class wind forces.
