Abstract
In recent years, the labor market pay much attention to the cultivation of high-level managerial talent, the domestic researches for the high-level management trainee focus on the process of system implementation and on the value of the management trainee program ,very few researched from microcosmic angle. In this context, base on literature research, this article designed the questionnaire according to predecessors, and the questionnaire mainly measured is the subjects’ value recognition of management trainee program in business from both sides of the management trainee program. Then, three experiments measured the management trainee program participators’ experiences influence on the job hunting and employment. A survey of human resources department staff in different industries tell us a macroscopic view of the effect of a management trainee program to the firm and the key competency factors of developing a management trainee Experiment 1 shows the employers’ different willingness of giving employer chances to interview on different control variables. Experiment two mainly investigated students’ self-confidence in getting an interview under different control variables. Using the data obtained from the questionnaire, experiment three shows employers’ different willingness on make hiring and paying decisions on the basis of knowing different management trainee performance.
Base on the analysis of questionnaire and experimental data, the main conclusions are consistent with the original hypothesis. For employers, the higher score the candidates get in the overall evaluation of management trainee, the stronger the hiring intentions will be. It’s very obvious that the management trainee program participation experience is important to personal value.
