Based on an engineering practice, DF hardening agent in the YS method was used to consolidate and improve soft soils by aiming at problems in improvement of deep and thick soft soils of large areas. The method had a remarkable effect on the reinforcement of ultra -deep soft soils which was expounded from theoretical analysis and engineering application, and shall have a good prospect on engineering application.
