LTD, Beijing 100101, China) Abstract: The paper introduces a real engineering case on changing non-ground floor space of existing building into hemi-anechoic room where the noise of fan-coil unit shall be tested. The acoustical performance test and estimation after the hemi-anechoic room has finished will be involved in the paper. The hemi-anechoic room not only can fulfill the demand of testing the noise of fan-coil unit, but also achieve precision test. There are some advantages, such as a short construction cycle, more little investment cost and a wide range of building position, to change non-ground floor space of existing building into hemi-anechoic room.
