Abstract: Through analyzing the defects of the trad itional FM in commun ication bewt een the units and equip
ment cells, the paper put forth the blue print wh ich app lying the field bus to the FM . Andm aking use of the
mi ense 7300 as the host station of the flexible manufacturing system, and building the FM commun ication
and control system based on the ProfibusDP field bus, wh ich ensure the realtmi e commun ication betw een the
